Spanish! is a learning tool similar to flashcards, but with AUDIO and an intelligent progress tracking system that helps you learn faster. After you "flip" to the answer, you pick if you were Right or Wrong.

The program remembers which Spanish words you have trouble with, and which you have learned well. It focuses on the problematic items, while using longer spans of time between repetitions of learned material.

Pros and cons of Spanish! app for iPhone and iPad

Very helpful to have the pronunciations with the words. Like the other Flip programs, it makes learning a game.

So the only complaint that I have about this program is that it is distracting me from Andres other excellent application, Japanese Flip. This is the third application of his that I have downloaded, and they are all excellent. The addition of audio to this application is very helpful, hopefully he will go back and add it into his Japanese products.

Ur not going to learn the entire language with this app, but it is a cool way to bump up ur vocabulary when u have some downtime on the go.

Outstanding app. Fun, easy to use. The stat tracking is very smart and keeps throwing the right words at you. To Dev: Please add more words to the vocabulary! This would greatly increase the value, especially with such a common language (in my part of the world anway) as Spanish.

Excellent ap for learning vocabulary but a number of the words are not very practical - do I really need to know Spanish for abridgement, interweave, amass, hackneyed, and objurgate?? I dont even use those words in English! Would be nice if you could delete a word out that you dont care to learn because youd never use it. (When was the last time you used the word objurgate or hackneyed in a sentence??) Otherwise all in all a very good ap for learning vocabulary.

Ok, so I didnt learn that from the app. LOL. But I have learned a bunch of really useful words from listening and testing myself with this thing. Its scary smart. And yes, almost game like. Not boring when you have to beat your last score. I know, I know sounds nerdy. whatever. But its pretty addicting all the same. YAY!

Some bad moments

In order to go in to test mode you have to view all of the words (many a few times) and click "Right" before you can go in to any sort of test mode. Or, I assume that is the case since Im not going to click right, then next 1400 or so times. If you have never spoken a word of Spanish, you may want to read all 1100 words but if this is to augment your other studies, dont waste your time.

App not worth it. If your a beginner you want to learn the basic, and a lot of the words would be useless to you. Pointless app and not good for beginners, you basically have to learn all the words (I would not recommend it for learning)

NO FLEXIBILITY, THE WRITER CHOSE ODD WORDS, I KNEW THIS FROM ANOTHER REVIEW BUT IT LOOKED LIKED I COULD DELETE WORDS THAT I DID NOT WANT. YOU CAN ONLY DELETE WHAT YOU ENTER. YOUR ONLY CHOICES ARE: ALL WORDS -1101 WORDS AT ONCE WITH NO WAY TO REDUCE SIZE; NOUNS 589 WORDS AT ONCE WITH NO WAY TO REDUCE SIZE; VERBS 164 WORDS AT ONCE WITH NO WAY TO REDUCE SIZE; DESCRIPTIVE WORDS 348 WORDS AT ONCE WITH NO WAY TO REDUCE SIZE. THIS SAID ,IT IS MY OPION THAT THIS NOT WORT ANYTHING BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF FLEXIBILY. TOTALLY UNMANGEABLE. TO BAD WITH A LITTLE EFFORT ON THE DESIGNERS PART COULD BE A NICE APP- BECAUSE YOU CAN ADD YOUR WORDS.. I BOUGHT FLIPR AND AM MAKING MY OWN DATA BASE. YOU TYPE YOUR WORDS ON YOUR PC THEN ASK FOR THEM ON YOUR IPOD. WORKS WELL NOT PERFECT BUT LOOKS LIKE THE DEVELOPER IS WORKING ON IMPROVING THE PROGRAM. HOPE THIS SAVE SOMEONE A FEW BUCKS.

This would be an ok app if it wasnt for the fact that these are the most random, unusefull set of words that I have ever seen! I hardly use these words when I speak English! Dont buy this app, its a waste of a dollar.

Gave up using this app. It has obscure words that I dont even know in English. Then I found that on a few occassions it gave me definitions for Spanish words that were incorrect; my wife who speaks Spanish picked this up and then I checked a Spanish-English dictionary to confirm her opinion.

This app has so much potential, but as it is right now, it is useless. Please break up the massive amount of vocabulary into manageable sets rather than having them in one pool.
